LendSend is building an ecosystem that bridges the blockchain and traditional financial worlds.
We bring two key innovations to the market:

–  High Street cash remittances using private blockchain technology and
–  Unsecured consumer lending on Ethereum

Our mission is to bring the benefits of blockchain technology to customers and loan providers who still want to utilise the cash-based world.

Remittance Platform

80% of remittances are still sent and received in cash. Our remittance platform allows people working abroad to send cash or digital funds home using our private blockchain and saving up to 50% in total cost and taking minutes, not days.

loan platform

People who rely on remittance incomes find it difficult to obtain loans at affordable interest rates, as lenders have no visibility of this income. Our RemitLoan Platform allows lenders to offer loans based on better credit data and borrowers to obtain cheaper credit.

Tokenized Debt Platform

Traditional loan providers need capital to grow their loanbooks but are locked out of the fast-growing tokenized debt markets. Our Tokenized Debt Platform allows traditional lenders to securely access this $1 trillion market.

How it Works

The Remittance Platform

LendSend’s mission is to bring the benefits of blockchain technology to people who use cash

We are in late stage development and will launch in early 2019 the first blockchain based remittance solution that deals exclusively with fiat money – cash not crypto. Our solution gives customers the same easy methods of paying in and out money as they use today but offers fees 30-50% lower and transfer times in minutes not days.

The Loan Platform

LendSend’s mission is to enable lower income families who rely on remittance income cheaper and easier
access to unsecured lending

LendSend’s mission is to enable lower income families who rely on remittance income cheaper and easier access to unsecured lending.

RemitLoan is a platform that allows loan customers to apply for an unsecured loan, be pre-validated and credit scored and be offered a range of fiat-loan products from 3rd Party licensed and regulated lenders.

RemitLoan bridges the blockchain and “brick-and-mortar” online lending world offering the decentralised security of the former and the far greater pool of lenders who currently work exclusively in the latter.
Loan applicants will be able to apply for an unsecured loan, be pre-validated and credit scored based on both remittance and traditional credit data and be offered a range of fiat loan products from 3rd party loan providers.

Loan companies hosted on RemitLoan will have access to a new, and lower risk set of pre-assessed customers and will ultimately provide the loan capital and debt servicing. Costs of acquisition (which can traditionally be c$100-$200 per loan) will also be much lower.

The Tokenized Debt Platform

LendSend’s mission is to bring the Tokenized Debt Capital markets to the traditional subprime unsecured lending world
Tokenized Debt process map

We are using blockchain to  overcome the challenges loan providers face in securing affordable debt capital to provision their loan businesses and in accessing the fast-growing tokenized debt markets.

As lenders increase their portfolio size they require additional capital. Traditional fiat lending companies have little access to the tokenized securities markets which is predicted to grow to $10 Trillion by 2025, We intend to expand our RemitLoan Platform to offer exiting loan companies the opportunity to collateralise their loanbook assets (CLO) in the form of tokenized Bonds – a new asset class.

Social impact

social impact statistics

Blockchain technology offers the ability to do existing things in new ways and has the potential to bring cheaper financial access to billions of unbanked and underbanked low-income earners.

Making payments, transferring money, validating identity and removing intermediaries are examples of where blockchain can make life easier for those excluded from today’s financial system. There is a problem however. The blockchain players in the remittance and lending space are not offering ‘traditional’ methods of transaction (ie. cash); thus, excluding people who use cash and have limited access to bank accounts and credit cards.

At LendSend we believe there is a profitable way to bring money transfer and lending to migrant workers and low-income families who rely on remitted income.

With our lower transfer fees, more of the remitted money will reach its intended beneficiaries back home. And with our ability to improve the credit scoring of the recipients of remittance monies, we will open the door to them having cheaper access to loan products and start to close the door on payday and other high interest lenders.

We are dedicated to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and believe that together we can achieve the target of reduced transaction costs to less than 3 per cent and eliminate remittance corridors with costs higher than 5 per cent by 2030.
