Problems with the current system

You’ve moved to another country for work. You have little or no credit profile and no bank account. How do you support your family and finances back home?

These are the problems that thousands of employed migrant workers face everyday. If you don’t have a bank account, life is a little more complex and a lot more expensive.

Problems with sending

  • 80% of remittances are still sent or received in cash
  • Bank and Fintech companies only deal in sending digital funds, not cash
  • Sending cash remains expensive:  average 7.45%
  • Cash transfers are slow 2-5 days
  • “Fee-free” offers disguise high FX cost

Problems with lending

  • Lenders have no visibility of cash remittance income
  • 85% of borrowers have loan applications rejected
  • Those relying on remittance income face even higher rejection rates lowering their credit score even further
  • Many low-income borrowers have payday lenders as their only option
Sendry believes in REAL financial inclusion

That's why you don't need a bank account to use it

How it Works

Sendry is changing the way we send money

no stress

You can send cash, actual cash, cheaply, safely and most importantly, quickly.

Your friends and family can have access to your cash transfer in seconds, ready for them to withdraw from an ATM or partner store.

It’s really quick.

How we compare

Cost of sending €100 and lending €500

Sendry uses data from money transfers to offer the fairest possible loan rates

Traditional cash remittance providers charge a mix of foreign exchange margin and various fees, such as cash-in/out fees, which are often hidden to the customer.

Short-term lenders are regulated and have limits on interest rates, however, there are few regulations regarding “commission” fees.

Sendry charges a transparent, all inclusive 5% flat fee for cash remittances and much lower commission than other providers, which means our loan customers can save hundreds in fees each year.

Sendry makes sending money easy

it's simple

Money transfers can be tricky. Bank account numbers and IBANs and waiting around…you don’t need to do this anymore. You have better things to do with your time.

Sendry lets you make a cash payment via your Sendry app.

Easy.

Team
